At Essentia Elixirs, we make elixirs because performance matters. An elixir is a fragrance with a higher concentration of perfume oils, which means stronger projection, richer depth, and longer wear on skin. It is not made to disappear in an hour. It is made to leave an impression.

The lower the oil concentration, the faster the fragrance evaporates. That is why so many colognes and perfumes from major designer brands smell impressive at first spray, then sit close to the skin or disappear far too quickly. 

What You Are Really Paying For

With many big designer brands, you are not paying for superior performance. You are often paying for:

  • The fashion house name

  • Celebrity campaigns

  • Retail markups

  • Packaging and hype

And yet many of those fragrances still sell for:

  • $80-$120 for lighter formats or smaller bottles

In other words, people often pay luxury prices for fragrances that are still relatively weak in concentration and average in performance.
